Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Dream!

Today I've got a double dose of Yummy recipes for you!  I'm posting them together in one post because they are of one theme..... chocolate/peanut butter/banana!  This is a great combination, and these recipes are delish!!

The first (pictured above) is a sweet treat that can be eaten anytime!  It has a bunch of protein, is low calorie, and high fiber -- can't beat that!!

You'll need:
1 banana fudge vitatop
1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder (I used Jillian Michael's Whey)
1tbsp reduced fat crunchy peanut butter (I used JIF)
4tbsp Fat Free Whipped topping

If you're familiar with Vitatops, you know they are kept frozen - so heat your VitaTop in the microwave for about 20 seconds.  In a bowl, combine whipped topping, protein powder, & peanut butter.  Stir until mixed through - and place on top of Vitatop -- Enjoy your 'sundae'!

Decadent 'Brownie Sundae'

Vitatops are one of my favorite things!!  And tonight I wanted something that tasted sinful but was actually healthy - came up with this simple treat!  It has fiber - and plenty of protein -- win win!!  I'm thinking even kids or your picky friends/family who don't like 'health food' would even like this!!

1 Vitatop - sugar free - velvety chocolate
4tbsp lite whipped topping
1/4 scoop chocolate protein powder

Remove Vitatop from package and place on a saucer.  In a small bowl, combine protein powder & whipped toping.  Top the vitatop with the whipped topping/protein mixture.  Freeze for 20-30 minutes.  Enjoy!!

VitaTop - Awesome snack idea!!

So I tried this the other day, and it was amazing.  I decided when I had it again today I had to share.

I am a huge fan of VitaTops! They are delicious, healthy, and can really satisfy a sweet tooth craving - there's so many things you can do with them!  Per the VitaLicious Website - These VitaTops are 'All natural cholesterol free Kosher muffin tops contain whole wheat, oat bran and 15 vitamins & minerals'

This go 'round, I had the Raisin Bran VitaTop, and I topped it with about half a tbsp of Maranatha Natural Almond Butter (Creamy).  VitaTops are frozen, so I just popped mine in the microwave, in package, for 30 seconds.  Came out steaming hot, added the Almond Butter, and it melts a little and creates almost an icing!  It's delish! Almost dessert like but much healthier - very guilt free!  This is perfect for a mid morning snack, or even an evening snack -- I think it could even work for breakfast paired with some egg whites or something with some more protein!
