Strawberry Pineapple and Pumpkin Protein shake?!

As you all know, I LOVE to add stuff into my protein shakes that add lots of nutrients, without a lot of calories.  Pumpkin is one of my FAVORITE things to add!  One reason it's great, in addition to all the health benefits it brings, is because it's relatively easy to cover up flavor wise, PLUS it makes the shakes thick and delicious!

The shake I made today is one of my new favorites!

1tbsp Polaner All Fruit Sugar Free w/Fiber - Strawberry Preserves
1/4 cup Pineapple chunks
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk (I use So Delicious)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Body Fortress)
1/4 cup canned 100% pumpkin (I use Libby's)
6-7 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a blender - and DIG IN!

And you're welcome! ;)  So delicious!  Here's the stats!

Creamy Pineapple Orange Protein Shake

Came up with this tasty Protein shake yesterday.... Turned out so amazingly delish that I had to share it with you.  This tastes like something you'd get at a smoothie shop - but this is better because it has a ton of protein - and way less calories & carbs than theirs would have.  Enjoy!!

2 scoops Naturade Soy Meal Replacement - Vanilla
6.5oz Silk Organic Unsweetened Soy Milk
about 1 cup Frozen Pineapple Chunks
1oz Trop 50 Orange Juice
 6-8 IceCubes

Combine all ingredients in blender (pineapple & ice on bottom - milk on top) -- blend until smooth.

Three Cheers for Greek Yogurt!

I'm a bit of a late comer to the Greek Yogurt craze..... In fact, I've tried it before but didn't like it.

However, it's so delicious to me now!  And there's good reason to eat it!

High protein - 2x the protein in regular yogurt!
Lower Sodium - up to 50% less sodium than regular yogurt!
Less Carbs - 40-50% less carbs than regular yogurt!
Lactose intolerant?  Try Greek Yogurt - easier to digest than regular yogurt!
Rich, Creamy, Smooth Texture - It's much more filling than regular yogurt too, because it's creamy & thick!

I've had Chobani Greek Yogurt for breakfast the past two mornings.... Yesterday, I tried the Pomegranate (YUM!) and today I tried the Pineapple (Double Yum!)
I also like to add dry oatmeal to my yogurt.  I just put a couple of tablespoons on top and mix it in.  It's so good - and a great way to get some oats in ya!
